The diagram given indicates some striking differences in the proportions of three types of firms, categorized by size, making use of social media for business purposes over the period from 2012 to 2016.
As can be seen from the chart, the statistics increased over the given period, regardless of the company size. In addition, the proportion of large-scale enterprises was always the highest. (large-scaled enterprises were the heaviest and most consistent users among the three)
It is evident that the proportions of small businesses fluctuated more slightly than that of the medium one, with the former standing at around 28% in 2012 then going up to 35% in 2014 before a steady decrease to exactly 30 in the next year. 2016 then witnessed a surge to approximately 50 which was its highest point over the demonstrated period. Moving to medium business, there was a considerable increase from over 30 to around 50 in 2014, following which, it then plunged to a low of 30 in 2015 which was equal to that of small business. It eventually made an upward trend to the final figure of around 52 in 2016.
As can be seen in the bar chart of the large-scaled enterprise, the least among others was the percentage in 2015 with just over 50% while the proportions in 2012, 2013, and 2016 were approximate, at around 80.
