The graph illustrates the enrolment of students from Iran, Greece and Turkey at Sheffeild University from 2005 to 2009.
Overall, wide fluctuations were seen in the figure of students enrolled. However, although Greek students were the highest in the beginning, Iranians outpaced it by the end of the given period.
Initially, around 40 students from Iran were enrolled, which then gradually rose in 2006 to reach above 80 in 2008 before dramatically rising to reach just below 160 by the end of 2009.
Meanwhile, around 180 students from Greece took admission at Sheffield University in 2005, which was the highest number of that year, before dropping sharply to over 60 students in 2007, following which the figure levelled off. Finally, a continuous decrease in the number of students can be seen by the end of the survey.
On the other hand, Turkey stood the last in 2005, with 20 students, after which there was a significant increase to reach above 80 students in 2007. Furthermore, the trend was observed to have a constant rather moderate rise to hit above 120 students in the last year.
