Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the number of older people is grown all over the period in every country, though in Canada the increasing rate is high than in the other countries, while the UK had a lower rising rate.
To begin with Canada and the UK, in 1980 in Canada 10% of people age over 65, whereas in the UK the percentage was closed to 15. After two decades the amount grew in both countries and remained to level off at 15. In this year 5 and approximately 3 percent rose in the former and latter country. In 2030 Canada crossed the UK and Canada went over 20, while the UK stood below 20 percent.
Turning to Germany which had the highest number of elderly people among the three countries at all times, and every 20 years increased at a rate of 5%. In 1980, 15% of total people were aged over 65, then 20 and 25 percent in the two latter mentioned years respectively.
