The average monthly temperature and gross duration of sunshine in three major cities namely New York, London, and Sydney are demonstrated in the line graph and table.
Regarding the monthly temperature, although the monthly figures of London and New York change considerably with a relatively similar pattern, the weather in New York is more severe, meanwhile, the remained experiences the opposite pattern. Interestingly, the total hours of sunshine in London are the least, meanwhile, figures for Sydney and New York are approximately equal.
It is of note that the monthly temperature in London varies from 10 degrees Celsius in January to a peak of 25 degrees Celsius. Likewise, the winter in New York is 5 degrees Celsius lower than London’s in January, on top of that, the hottest temperature in New York was 30 degrees Celsius in July. In contrast, the average temperature in Sydney bottomed at 15 degrees Celsius in July.
As for sunshine duration, New York and Sydney have relatively similar figures of 2,535 and 2,473 hours respectively. In contrast, the average amount of sunshine on a yearly basis across London stands at a significantly lower level of 1,158 hours.
