Overall, the percentage of women who passed the driving test is higher than man all four years and the proportion of male and female had a stable increase in the first three years.
In 1980, the rate of a female passed the exam register nearly 50%, after which this feature climed to over 50% in 1990, and after this years this rate was always above 50%. Moreover, it reachesthe highest point at around 68% in 2000 and this was followed by a slight fall to under 65% in 2010.
The rate of male and female were similar that both had a stable development in the first 3 years, but in the last year, those had a different trend. To be more exact, the percentage of men stand about 38% and 48% in 1980 and 1990, respectively, at which point this rate went up to nearly 49% and remain unchanged in the next 10 years.
