The chart below shows the total number of minutes (in billions) of telephone calls in the UK, divided into three categories, from 1995-2002.
This graph show the trend of three different call type being used in the UK since 1995 to 2002.
We can see that national and international call and mobiles are being used more frequently, while local phone calls remain stability. But it is obviously that people spend more time on using phone call.
First of all, I noticed the dramatically rose in mobile catalogue, it experienced a 15 times growth during 1995 to 2002. In contrast Local phone call once have a growth from above 70 to 90 billion but it went back down to 70 again. Moreover National and international calls steadily growth to around 60 billion in 2002, whereas it being used nearly 40 billion minutes in 1995.
It is clear that because of the rising figure for national and international and mobile catalogue , the total number of minutes of telephone calls in the UK increase in these 7 years from around 110 million to 180 million, which is definitely a stunning performance.
