Focusing on home owners, the percentage reached a peak in 2004 to approximately 60% then decreased moderately less than 3% by 2006. Despite this, from 2006 to 2007 the percentage of home owners in the United Kingdom witnessed a slight rise over than 3%, in the next, it started to sharp drop by 2011. Moreover, since 2011 to 2012 it maintained steadily. At the end, the chart had a rapid fall whereas it reached to almost 35% , in 2014.
In contrast, the percentage of renters in the United Kingdom experienced a significant rise over the period covered by the chart, from 20% in 2004 to almost 50% in 2014. Although, from 2005 to 2006 the percentage of renters seems to have a moderate fall, then went up quickly and reached to its maximum percentage in 2014.
In conclusion, undoubtedly it is clear that from 2004 to 2014 whereas home owners increased, at the contrary, rented home holds decreased. In addition, from 2011 by 2013 we can say firmly that both households, renters and owners, had almost same percentage.
