Some people think that e-books are the death of paper books while others think that paper books will never disappear.
Discuss both sides and give your opinion.
These days, e-books have become more common, so people use them as a convenient way to look for some information. It said that the appearance of e-books lead to the death of traditional books, while some people think paper books will exist for a long time. In my point of view, nothing can replace paper books which contain many precious values.
On one hand, some readers prefer e-book because of their conveniences. First of all, e-books were invented with the development of the Internet and it helps people find out some things correctly and fast, therefore, people think that e-books are better than physical books. Secondly, when people need to look for a dictionary, they can search on the web and wait for a second which saves a lot of time to do some leisure activities. Reading the book online also save the amount of money because people can download most of the file from the Internet without any fee. Besides, the soft book is just on a screen so they are not as heavy as a real book. If you have a long trip, you will only bring your phone instead of a big paper book.
On the other hand, many people feel that hard books will never be absolute for multiple reasons. First, when people hold a book in their hands, they will have a lot of feelings and be given the author’s emotions. For example, a bookworm will read a paper many times to understand the characters and implications that the author sends. Moreover, a paper book is easy to note some significant details when studying. Secondly, reading paper books is a way of showing our respect to the author because many digital books on the Internet are not copyrighted, sometimes even incomplete or misleading. Last but not least, a physical book protects your eyes from blue light on the screen and relaxes your mind after a hard-working day.
On my way, choosing physical books to read or surf the web is everyone's hobby and depends more on purposes. For example, if you need to look for some materials for your homework, the e-book version can give a massive feature that it is hard to find out when reading paper books. Meanwhile, people, especially bookworms are crazy about physical books because they give more experience than e-books cannot contain.
In conclusion, reading hard or soft books are both pros and cons so people should consider in suitable situation. There are several people spend time on e-books, paper books should still be preserved.
