The chart shows the percentage of male and female teachers in different types of educational setting in the UK in 2010
The graph illustrates the amount of teachers in different institutions in the UK in 2010.
Overall we can see that there was a large gap between male and female educators. Particularly, women predominated man in teaching for younger children; whereas, man made up a more significant portion in higher education.
Females were represented as the major part in children's education, where they shared more than 90 percent in both nursery and primany school. In contrast, male facilitators only made up for less than 5 percent in those area.
Man and women were more equally represented in school for older children. The number of teachers in secondary school, college and private institution fluctuated between the range of 40 to 60 percent. In college environment, male and female teachers were equal in number.
On the other hand, male educators outnumbered females in under and post-graduation. The figure for men was approximately 75 percent, tripled that of women educators.
