The process diagram details the steps by which liquid chocolate is produced from cocoa beans.
The diagram manifests the procedure of producing chocolate from cocoa beans. From an overall perspective, there are ten steps in the whole procedure, starting from raw materials to the final products.
The first step begins at agriculture land in South America, Africa and Indonesia, where cocoa trees are cultivated. After ripe red pods are harvested, the white cocoa beans are detached from the skin to be then wrapped among layers of leaves for the purpose of instigating the fermentation process. After that, workers spread the beans under the day so that excess water can evaporate resulting in dried one.
The next stage is when beans packaged into large sacks and transported by train or lorry to factories. There, beans are roasted at high temperature to create the brown hue and classic scent. Then, beans are transferred to a machine that is capable of separating outer shell and crushing simultaneously.
Finally, fine-grinded beans will be put under high pressure to produce liquid chocolate.
