The line graph compares the proportion of population aged 65 and over between the years 1940 and 2040 in the countries japan,sweden and USA.
It can be clearly seen that the percentage of people of given age is gradually increasing from the year 1940 to 2040.In contrast,the population of japan unexpectedly lowered from the very beginning till 2030 but after 2030,the population dramatically rised to 25%.
Unlike the population of japan,the population of sweden and USA did not show any noticeable fluctuation beside in the few years.The population percantage of japan,sweden and USA were 5%,7% and 9% respectively.In the following years,the population of japan decreased but population of sweden and USA climbed up steadily.Interestingly in the year 2000,the population percentage of sweden and USA coincided having percentage about 14%.
Overall,the population percentage of sweden and USA increased from around 6-10% to around 20-30% in between year 1940 to 2040.But population percentage of japan decreased initially and then increased sharply.
