The given pie chart exhibits the aftermath of a surveillance regarding the reasons behind the application of mobile phones in an African country. The study was conducted for four years, and it was the on teenagers.

In the beginning of the survey, students used phones exactly for 50 percent for connecting people on various platforms online. This sector experienced the largest segment of the study at the end of the period, and was accounted for 56%. On the other hand, using cell phones for capturing images remained the same at 15% for the first couple of years, but it increased to 20 % in 2019.

The application of phones for sending email experienced a gradual decline throughout the survey. It fell down to 19% in 2019, while it was precisely at 25% in 2016. Students used their phones for making call at the highest rate in 2017, but it had a dramatic decrease in 2019. In the end of the period, this was accounted for only 5%.

Overall, students utilized mobile phones at a greater percentage for social networking, while they applied this device the least for making calls.
