It is believed that someone achieve their aims is mostly by luck. Do you agree or disagree?
Many people believe that luck is the main factor that helps people to reach their target. While it is true that luck does contribute to a person’s achievements, I would argue that there are other elements that are much more important.
To begin with, luck can play a role in helping people achieve their aims. Firstly, luck is a base factor that pushes people to achieve success faster. It cannot be denied that luck makes opportunities for people to apply their abilities to work. For example, a person is fortunately born in a wealthy family who is allowed to have a better education or easily start their own business. In conclusion, these people tend to have better opportunities to succeed than those coming from low-income families. Secondly, some people luckily have great talents which others do not have. For instant, Lionel Messi already had the skills to play football when he was born. Therefore, having a natural talent positively leads to the success of a person.
However, I believe luck is not the most vital factor in people’s success. First, people who work hard and put effort into their jobs might really achieve their success. For example, Cristiano Ronaldo does not have natural talents but he spent many hours practicing before becoming a famous football player. Additionally, people who have determination will easily reach their target. Because they have been through so many challenges, they would feel truly worthy of their success. For an instant, Nguyen Ngoc Ky who does not have arms is real evidence of determination since he practices a lot to write by his foot and become a great teacher. As a result, determination is an important factor for each person who wants to achieve their target.
In conclusion, although I agree that luck is important to some extent in helping people become successful, I believe that hard work and determination are the most important elements.
