The bar chart provided depicts the information about the proportion of adults of different age groups using internet on daily basis in the great Britain from the years 2003 to 2006.It is manifest that the usage of internet was highest in the year 2006 by all age groups except age group of 16 to 24.
By scrutinizing the data,it is evident that the internet was mostly used by the age group 16 to 24. Where, the percentage was similar in first two years which was 80%. Further, the proportion was at peak in 2005 from where it further declined to 90 percent approximately. Whereas, in the age group 25 to 44 the ratio followed a increasing trend with the increase in the years.
Furthermore, age group 45 to 54 also followed a rising trend and in 2006 the percentage was 80.In addition to it, there was fluctuation in the proportion of age group 55 to 64 where the highest use of internet was in 2006. At last, the age group 65+ was under 20 percent throughout the given time period.
Overall,it is clear from the above information that the usage of internet was least by the age group 65+ throughout the given time period.
