The pictures given illustrate significant changes in several areas in the public park, which was opened in 1920, compares with new arrangements today.
Overall, there are a lot of facilities rearranging and replacing in the middle and two sides of the park.
In 1920, two entrances from Arnold Avenue and Eldon Street lead to the fountain in the middle of the park. On the left side, a stage for musicians, which was located between two rose gardens, and surrounding were seats for visitors. On the right side near Arnold Avenue, there were also a rose garden and a pond for water plants, the opposite side was the glasshouse.
Nowadays, the park has witnessed a new arrangement. The fountain is replaced by a rose garden and seats are moved in place around the garden. The stage has been upgraded into an amphitheater for concerts. The new facilities are the cafe and children's play area, where the pond was in the past, and an entrance underground for car parking is constructed on the left side of the park, near the water feature.
