If you want it done right, You don’t have to do it yourself!

In this delightful, quick-to-read business-management allegory, “If you want it done right, you don’t have to do it yourself!”, Donna M. Genett uses an entertaining narrative about identical cousins, James and Jones, to introduce her successful program for effective delegation.
The first chapter starts with the story of James & Jones. Although James and Jones are not twins, they have a striking similarity. Everything ran pretty smoothly until James and Jones both took over as managers. Jones played great in his role, was well-liked by his subordinates, and fulfilled his goals. James, on the other hand, found it difficult to collaborate with his assistants. When speaking with Jones, James recognized the problem and start to solve it step by step.
In the next week, James is faced with new challenges. He changed and spoke with his workers once again; everything went smoothly, and with the reduced workload, James was able to spend time with his family. Everyone is now more excited about their jobs.
The problems are no longer repeated, James has more time to discuss and understand the problems of his subordinates, and can finally feel more relaxed in his role. James left the office on Friday night to go home. Think about the changes that had occurred to him in the last few weeks, and his feelings were indescribable right now. He appreciates Jones' support.
Life still has countless challenges waiting for people to face. Difficulties are an inevitable event. Challenges make you more responsible. Always remember that life without struggle is a life without success.
