The bar chart compares the amount of free time per week that females and males of five types of employment status got between 1998 and 1999.
It is clear that men spend more hours on leisure time compared to women, while part-time female workers with housewives beat the opponent in terms of having more rest hours in the whole period.
Turning to the details, jobless and retired members of both genders got a similar pattern for having spare time, which had been accounted for about 85 hours for men and by approximately 5 hours less (80 hours) for women, respectively. Regarding the full-time employed class, specifically, men had remarkably more leisure time, having around 50 hours of free time, whereas females experienced 40 hours.
On the other hand, housewives enjoyed having up to 50 hours of rest, compared to part-time female workers who had only 40 hours of leisure time each week. However, males had no record in either of these categories.
