In daily life, it is not easy to choose the best-fit media to update and expand knowledge day by day. There are many ways for communicating information such as comics, books, radio, movies, etc. I am going to mention three different media including books, television, and radio with some suggestions of its advantages and disadvantages.
Firstly, reading books is one of the beneficial methods to access a wide range of various interesting topics from literature textbooks or scientific books. People also easily look for their desired books from libraries, and bookstores. Besides, people can flexibly schedule their reading with books on their hands. However, books often have a lot of texts with fewer figures, so it is easy to become boring. Moreover, some unauthorized publish these days leads to the emergence of unsatisfied qualification for commercial books.
Secondly, television is the most common media for people to collect news as soon as possible with both international and national situations every day. They do not need to read many texts, so they can absorb information conveniently while doing something else but it can not prevent kids from harmful effects such as violent scenes or the bad side of news on television.
The last media which I am going to consider is radio. Despite the old access, radio has selective information, so it often gives good sources. Recently, people do not often listen to the radio frequently due to limitations in the scope of news and schedule to choose a suitable radio channel.
In conclusion, even though television still has the unpreventable disadvantages, it has been known as the most popular media to claim or provide information to users with the fastest speed. It is reasonable to consider television as the most effective tool based on its function in communication.
