But The professor says that the reading ignored the main disadvantges of encyclopedia, and refutes each claim in the reading.

First the reading says that contributors to a communal online encyclopedia often lack academic credentials, thereby making their contributions partially informed at best and downright inaccurate in many cases. However the professor says that errors have never been as a real comprehensive and you can't get it in online.

Second the reading claims that even if the original entry in the online encyclopedia is correct, the communal nature of these online encyclopedias gives unscrupulous users and vandals or hackers the apportunity to fabricate , delete and corrupt information in the encyclopedia. But the professor says that hacking can be controlled by two strategies first, put the article in format that cann't be corrected , deleted or changed.Second,there are special editors who's their job is to eliminate any changes that may happen.

Third , the reading states that the communal encyclopedias focus too frequently, and in too great depth , on trivial and popular topics, which create a false impression of what is important and what is not. Conversely the professor says that ,the problem of traditional encyclopedia is that there is a limited space furthermore there are decision maker who's revel that there is no interest of space by users , which is not issue for online encyclopedias, and the reading didn't focus on main importance of encyclopedia in discovering a lot of important topics.
