The diagram illustrates, the life cycle and anatomy of a ladybird. At first glance, it’s clearly evident that the development of a ladybird from egg to mature insect will take around 30 to 35 days.
Overall, the life cycle of a ladybird consists of four stages. it starts life as an egg and goes through two other stages before finally becoming an adult ladybird. With regard to its anatomy, an adult ladybug has seven main body parts. The whole life cycle process is a Cyclical nature-made process, which means the process in which the initial and final state is the same.
Firstly, the first stage of a life cycle of a ladybird is when an adult bird lays eggs on leaves and the subsequent egg stage is for 2-5 days after that the eggs produce larva. Afterward, it turns out into a pupa by adhering to the leaf. The whole larva stage consists of 21 days, whereas, the pupa stage takes 7 days only. As soon as the pupa stage is over, an adult ladybug emerges and the life cycle begins again.
finally, the second diagram shows the features and detailed anatomy of the ladybird. it has seven significant body parts consisting of a head, antenna, eye, pronotum, wing, leg, and abdomen. The ladybird has six legs, while, it has two antennas only. In addition, the two beautiful wings of an adult ladybird are covered with red elytra with black dots on them.
