The process gives information about how sugar is made from sugar cane. Overall, the technique requires seven steps spread over various time lengths, beginning with preparing the raw material and ending with dry sugar being ready to use.
At the primary stage, sugar canes are farmed and nourished for 12 to 18 months. Next, farmers harvest them by using two different approaches: either manually or with special vehicles. After that, sugar canes are put into a huge juicer, which has two giant wheels on both sides. By rolling the wheels, a force is produced that crushes the canes, extracting the sugar cane juice. That liquid is later poured through a limestone filter to remove impurities.
At the fifth stage, the pure juice is poured into an evaporator that makes the liquid thicker by removing all the water inside it. As a result, people collect sugar cane syrup. To separate the sugar crystals from the syrup, a machine that turns the container round very quickly to produce centrifugal force is used. Finally, the crystals are taken into the last phase of drying and cooling and are ready to be used.
