The number of working mother has been an the rise lately.some people argue that it is government responsibility to provide free child care to help working mother.Do you agree or disagree with the above statement.
science and technology have revolunized the lifestyle of human beings at remarkable pace. At present, earning money by both parents has become a dire need of societies to accomplish luxurious lifestyle. It is,argued that government should support working mothers by offering child care free of cost. Here, I would like to discord with given statement.
To commence with, governments, especially in developing countries have exhausted priority lists where they have to invest hefty sum of money to offer mandatory facilities to citizens. For example, in my country, India, it is quite challenging for government to manage funds even for the basic needs such as education, electricity, shelter and food for people. Therefore, administration may not have adequate fund to provide free child care to working women.
Furthermore, it is advisable to insist people for stopping disintegeration of macro families into micro families as older people can play a terrific role as a care taker of child in the absence of working parents. Consequently, goverment assistence is not likely to be required for families.
By contrast, others claim that a large number of working women has massive contribution in the economic development of a nation, thus free child care endorsement will stimulate every woman to join work force which would not only fulfill the needs of her family but also uplift the development of a nation.
To recapitulate, although supporting female earners seems a fruitful idea however, governments find themselves helpless to manage free child care.
