The two maps depict the future changes to the Norbiton industrial area. Overall, the zone is planned to become more residential and commercial.
As shown by the maps, there is a two-way road in the middle of the area that will soon become a four-way road. It is then connected to another three-way road in the south. Currently, there are only seven factories surrounding the main route. But soon, those factories will be replaced by housing and entertainment facilities such as shops located in the south and a playground in the northern east.
Furthermore, a part of the main route will be established in the future. It will cut through the river and the farmland to the north of the area. Moreover, housing accommodations will also be erected above it. Also, a medical centre will be built in the southern zone. However, only the side of the town in the Norbiton industrial area remains untouched.
