Some people like to keep a record of their own experiences by uploading pictures and other information to social-networking sites. Other people prefer not to create such records. Which approach do you prefer, and why? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
A glance at people's attitudes toward social networks brings the light a question that has been asked several times, that is, whether people should record their experiences by uploading pictures and other information to social-networking sites. Although some people assert that recording events on social media would lead to negative effects, I prefer to create records online and believe that its pros exceed its cons.
The foremost reason why I am supporting this idea lies in the fact that it is much easier to exchange opinions through the internet. To be more specific, everyone could read the records through social media, and they can express their own perspective and feedback on others' posts. For example, last week I wrote a post that is about a movie I watched, and I wrote my own viewpoint of the story. After I uploaded it, one of my friends immediately told me that she had watched that movie and she totally agree with my opinion. We had spent lots of time discussing the plot and exchanging our feedback through social-networking sites.
Another reason I should deem is that uploading records to the internet is more convenient than writing records on the traditional diary. To delineate, keeping records on the traditional diary, which is made of paper, is troublesome for people who want to paste photographs on it since pictures must be printed. However, when it comes to keeping records online, people can upload their pictures just for a second. Moreover, traditional diaries have limited space to write, but social media do not have restrictions on storage. As a result, people can put as much information in their posts as they want.
Last but not least, it is easy to search and save posts through social media. The traditional diary would be lost if people do not store it carefully. Nevertheless, if that information was saved online, people can easily find it by pressing buttons on the sites. Thus, the information can be saved more carefully by uploading records to social-networking sites.
What can be concluded from the aforementioned reasons and examples, therefore, is that creating records online is a great way to record people's life. Keeping records online is a convenient way to record experiences and also a means of sharing opinions.
