The diagram demonstrates the process of steel rod manufacturing for the furniture industry.
Firstly, raw materials such as iron ore, yellow ore and carbon are collected and carried to a melting slit. Then, ores are melted into one substance under the temperature of 1300-1500 degrees. After that, it goes through refinement in the smelting cabin. From this, the candescent metal is poured into ingots and then transported to a cooling reservoir.
As soon as ingots are cooled in the temperature from 60 to 100 degrees, the cooled metal is utilised to make strands with the help of nozzles. Following that, it undergoes rolling to give it a cylindrical shape. Afterwards, a heating machine treats rods with heat and subsequently they are surface checked with a measuring automaton. Finally, strands turned into individual rods, stamped with id and inspected.
Overall, the process is divided into two stages, where the first is raw material preparation and the second is the rod production.
