Essay topics:

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

The most important factor that influence student's success in school is a good teacher.

Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

I disagree with this statement. There are various attributions for the students' success in school, and I personally believe that a good teacher is not the most important factor.

First of all, although a good teacher can be skilled in teaching his/her courses, the degree of hard-working can be quite various among students. Some excellent students are eager to learn, while some students pay less attention to study. In the former case, the hard-working of a student may become a vital factor for his success, while for the latter case, a good teacher is not helpful not matter how he teaches well. Therefore, the hard-working of the student plays a more important role than a good teacher.

Furthermore, as there are many criterions to judge one's success in school, e.g. exam grades, sport exercises, art expertise, etc., a good teacher cannot contribute to all faces of the school life. For example, a good math teacher may strength the students' math ability, but he fails to help other part of their school life.

In a word, I strongly believe that it is the student himself is more important than the teacher.Nevertheless, I still believe that a good teacher is a key factor that contribute to students' success, though this is not the most important one.

We are expecting: No. of Words: 350 while No. of Different Words: 200
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

In today's society, education has become one of the most important factors in a person's life. It is widely believed that the most important factor that influences a student's success in school is a good teacher. However, I personally disagree with this statement.

In my opinion, while a good teacher plays an important role in a student's success, there are other factors that are equally important.Firstly, a student's attitude towards learning is crucial to their success in school. Even with the best teacher in the world, if a student is not motivated to learn, they will not succeed. For example, when I was in high school, I had a teacher who was very knowledgeable and passionate about his subject, but I was not interested in the subject at all. As a result, I did not do well in his class, even though he was a good teacher.

Secondly, a student's family background can also affect their success in school. If a student comes from a supportive family where education is valued, they are more likely to do well in school. On the other hand, if a student comes from a disadvantaged background where education is not a priority, they may struggle in school even with a good teacher.

Finally, a student's own effort and hard work are essential to their success in school. Even with a bad teacher, if a student is willing to put in the effort to learn, they can still do well. For example, I had a friend who had a teacher who was not very good, but he spent a lot of time studying on his own and ended up doing very well in the class.

In conclusion, while a good teacher is certainly important to a student's success in school, it is not the only factor. A student's attitude towards learning, family background, and their own effort and hard work are equally important. Therefore, I disagree with the statement that the most important factor that influences a student's success in school is a good teacher.
