Although you have never formally studied computing, you have always been interested in computers. You have just read about a computer course that really interests you but it is only for people who have completed an elementary course. Write a letter to the college enrollment officer, in your letter explain
a: why you are writing
b: describe your circumstances
c: asks if a special exception can be made for you so you can enroll in the course
Dear Enrollment Officer,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of health. I'm writing this letter to put forward my request for an upcoming program for networking students that is currently available on your website this program states that only students who have prior experience or completed the elementary course can participate in the course.
I am a professional working in sales and marketing but I am very much interested and enthusiastic to explore the field of IT as I can see new avenues and opportunities to diversify my profile and experience. I'm a quick learner who is keen to learn and grasp the knowledge and this course is suitable in terms of my ambitions and timing as I would have to complete it alongside my job.
I request you to allow me to join the course skipping the elementary course as I do not want to miss the opportunity I assure you that I will put in all the effort and will not let you down if the chance is given.
Regards
Zin Mark
