The line graph illustrates European country in eating fish and some different kinds of meat between 1979 and 2004. It can be seen from the graph that fish is the less consumption and chicken is the most, where beef and lamb are in the middle.
Europeans consuming chicken increases from year to year. In 1979, people eat slightly below 150 grams per week until in 2004 it becomes 250 grams per week. Compared to fish, people’s interest in eating fish steadily decreased from a little above 50 grams to around 50 grams per person per week.
Lamb and beef consumption has decreased quite significantly. People eat beef from 200 grams to about 100 grams per week, although in mid-1979 and 1984 it experienced an increase from under 200 grams to around 250 grams but until 2004 it continued to decline. People’s enthusiasm with lamb starts from 150 grams and decreases to around 50 grams per week.
