The pie charts illustrate post-school qualifications of Canadians aging from 25 to 35 and from 45 to 55.
Overall, the number of young Canadians holding a degree doubles that of the older group. Moreover, most people of the two age groups study social science and arts for post-school qualifications.
The field of social science, arts accounts for the most students in both age groups with a percentage of 20%. The proportion of Canadians aged between 25 and 35 majoring in administration and education surpasses that of the 45-55 group by a slight gap. A similar pattern can also be seen in the data of the education field for two groups.
There is only 9% of 25-35 Canadian adults who study engineering, 10% less than that of the older people. The opposite pattern can be seen in the proportions of Canadian postgraduates majoring in science, maths and computers. Moreover, nursing students aged between 45 and 55 nearly doubled that of the younger group, but the data of MBA for two age groups is quite the opposite of nursing.
