The graph illustrates four countries of residence of oversea students in Australia. Among the four countries are Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
In the graph, it is clearly shown that during the range of years between 1982 and 1989. Malaysia contains the most student residing in Australia. In 1990, Hong Kong surpassed Malaysia but quickly in 1993 been overtook by Indonesia which remained having the most students residing after the year 1994. Singapore on the other hand remained the lowest till the year 1998 when it overtook Malaysia and Hong Kong and had the second most students. Every country except Singapore had a sudden decline throughout the year. Only Singapore remained the only country that increased gradually without any decline throughout the years.
Based on the graph below, all countries did not pass the 30000 mark throughout the year. In the year 2000, Malaysia went from the country with the most amount of students residing there to the country with the least.
