Apparently, there has been a debate about the effect of increasing in human population and agriculture on the bird population in the United State, and how this effect would be increased in the future. A group of scientists believes of this statement, which representing by the author in the reading passage, while another group of researchers completely disagrees with this theory, indeed the professor in the lecture is one of them, so he argues each point that has been mentioned in the passage.

First of all, the professor claims that the increase population lead to disruptive bird's habitat to some extent, but that not true for all the bird types, as the author assumed, actually some bird type are increasing in the city because the city provide a good habitat for them with a plenty of food resources, for example, the hook which feeding on the rodent and bings, basically, the professor explanation knock down the reading assumption regarding the decrease in all bird types.
Second, the professor contend that the author claiming about the increase in the area of agriculture in the future, is actually not make sense because the progress in the agriculture techniques recently enable the farmer to grow different type of crops in the same area, in addition, to the increase the number of crop per land unit. Deffenetly the professor successfully opposes the second point that had been made by the text.
Finally, the professor talks about the new approaches to decrease the use of pesticides, first, using of pesticides less toxic to the animal, second, growing plants that already resistant to infection so that lead to reducing the use of pesticides. Indeed, the professor says that the author assumption may be true in the past but with all the progress in agriculture and all the awareness about the influence of pesticides on nature, there are no need to b worry anymore.
