The map details the developments of Templeton seaside resort from 1990 to 2005. Overall, more modernized buildings were built as well as the installation of various public transports with the extension of railway and road.
As can be seen from the 1990 map, the majority of the area was covered with trees and houses alternately but the resort experienced significant changes during the next 15 years. To be exact, the residential area near the beach was knocked down, as well as trees being cut down in order for a factory and a supermarket with several large buildings to be built in the south. Additionally, the railway was extended to the west of the resort, crossing the estuary, along the beach.
Further developments were a construction of an airport in the north and a ferry near the south-east corner to provide better transportation. Also, a new road to the west were built separating the market and other buildings in the west of the river. Besides, the lake has become a tourist attraction and buildings were erected surrounding its north-east. Despite many changes occurred, the residential area in the north-west corner did not experience any changes .
