Task 1: The average daily maximum in temperatures

The line graph illustrates the average daily maximum in temperatures of four cites in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
It can be seen clearly from the graph, in the first 6 months, the average daily temperatures of two cities in New Zealand, Auckland and Christchurch, had a downward trend while it’s figure of London and Edinburgh, two cities in the UK, had an upward trend. However, this trend in both of two cities changed totally its original position for each other.
In terms of New Zealand’s temperatures, Auckland always had higher temperatures than Christchurch. In January, Auckland’s temperature is 25°C whereas its Christchurch is about 23°C. Both of them had decreased after the beginning of year. Until a half of year, both cities started to rise and stabled at more 20°C. Regarding the UK’s temperatures, London and Edinburgh had the same temperate in January, above 5°C, both cities’ temperatures rose dramatically. There is a slightly difference in two cities’ temperatures in July. The temperature of London is higher than Edinburgh’s, about 5°C. In December, both cities fall to about 7°C.
