The rising levels of congestion and air pollution found in most of the world cities can be attributed directly to the rapidly increasing number of private cards in use. In order to reverse this decline in the quality of life in cities, attempts must be made to encourage people to use their cars less and public transport more. Discuss possible ways to encourage the use of public transport.
The increment of private cars directly leads to the adverse effect an environment and increases congestion of the road. These affects the health of travelers too, but for the public transport it carries many passengers at once so it can not have congestion on road and decrease peoples making traffic jams and owning the vehicles.
The public transport needs to be facilitated with the comfortable seats and decorations by which public would be attracted towards it. This can help decrease the use of private cars as the owners are not likely to travel by public transport, but, if once they tried it then they would not use private vehicles which increases congestion and gets them late.
Moreover, all persons should rely on the fact that the luxury for a single person, harming others is a indirect crime. So,the private car owner needs to be made aware of traffic problems which is even avoided by the owners. They should be reminded that the public transport is too facilitated with comfortable seats, appropriate stops and improvised sets of routes. Even the long distance public transport includes video coach that makes travelers pass time easily during the ride.
In the final, the comfortable and reliable service of public transport is needed to be informed and advertised for incorporating and motivating the private car users to use public transport.
