It is necessary for everyone to read poetry, novels, mythology and other types of imaginative literature

Reading poetry, novels, mythology and other types of imaginative books helps one in developing his imagination, improve understanding capabilities. However, making it necessary for everyone to read novels, mythology and other types of imaginative books, I personally disagree with the statement.

Reading poetry, short stories improve one’s thought process. Short moral stories are always helpful and yield good impact on children. From kindergarten children are thought; to be obedient, always help elders, respect everyone. In their world everything is very imaginative and unreal. They are easily fascinated by animated cartoons. For example, consider the remarkable novel Uncle Tom's Cabin. This novel is an excellent reading material for kid. It tells about the problem of racialism and how African Americans are treated and tells that they should be treated equally as whites. This book can give good moral lesson to the children who are vulnerable towards society influence and changes their character as the society molds them irrespective of the good and bad.

Today's technology is just the imagination of writer put in his fictional novel. Novel helps in developing our understanding. Due to fictional novel only today we are able to develop. Stories and novels existence of life on other planets had led to development of space shuttles, rockets. There are various cultural books also, which tells us about our past. It tells us about the medieval period, the culture practices in that time. It help us is understanding them more closely and deeply.

However, it should be understood adults have pragmatic knowledge and much understanding that kids, it should not be necessary of every adult to read poetry, novels, mythology. Adults are professionals, and if their job does not demand them to read novels, poems and mythological book, it should not be made compulsion form them. Though, in the pass time or while relaxing reading books is a good habit.

Concluding, thought it should be necessary for kids novels, poetry, mythological books should be introduced to them school, this would help them in mental developing. But, is should not be made compulsion for everyone.
