People's behavior is largely determined by forces not of their own making.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.
People do not know what kind of situations they will encounter in future. Situations create pressure under which mind works, if it was in appeasement then denouement or result of behavior will be felicitous as they usually behave otherwise if mind was in exasperation then people can show deviousness in their behavior. It is not ever true that Circumstances will favorable to us and we will show draconian behavior. So I endorse statement and i will justify it by taking three examples into consideration which will explicitly declaim my reasoning.
Forces have capability to change human behavior. For instance, take example of high elite people in our society. Elite people like politicians or judges are prestigious posts. They are expected to behave intellectually not by anger or vexation. But it is not new for us that newspapers are covered with stories of their hubris behavior. Circumstances under which they reacted were highly splenetic and vituperative. So they behaved according to their selfish aspects which is not felicitous to society that is reason it is covered in newspapers, to show their reality. But other times Circumstances which are suitable to them they work finely and peacefully.
For example, take child who is crying for some toys which are costly to buy for or his parents. Mother who gave birth to him, she knows that child behave puerile. But sometimes in market children become uncontrollable and out of mother' hand that she will even slap them or scold them. does she show often this behavior? No, she does not, because other times child is controllable and loving. Then what happened in market what was that? That was nothing Circumstances which pressurized her to slap or scold her child. So here mother's behavior largely determined by forces.
for more elaboration take example of professors in universities. Their job is to teach students, not to handle them or watch them in classroom what they are doing, are they listening to him, or engaged in other activities. But students are the one who generates ambieance for teaching. If its not favorable to professor then he may say to student to get out of class because of one person or two person whole class is getting disturbed and they are becoming hurdles for professor to think about content what he is teaching. Does professor often show that behavior. No other times he comes and teach and he would not do anything unless students make him to do.
Ultimately, Circumstances are one of imperative parameter which drives our mind to work. If it is favorable or bearable to us then we will react in good manner but if the same person is exposed to Circumstances which are highly abusive and disparaging then same person will behave in different manner, which is supported by examples of mother or elite people. So this implies that People's behavior is largely determined by forces not of their own making.
