42)What is a very important skill a person should learn in order to be successful in the world today? Choose one skill and use specific reasons and examples to support your choice
We live in a highly competitive world, where there is day to day competition in all areas such as at work place, in schools, at vegetable market, from big business to small business, everywhere, there is competition and we should have necessary skills to overcome those tasks. Everybody, have their own mindset to develop their skills. I believe in self-management skill to be successful in today's world.
First of all, self-management plan teaches us to independently complete tasks and take an active role in monitoring and reinforcing our own behavior. Self-management is linked with so many other skills. To be successful, one should have a personal vision and goal, having knowledge and confidence in own vision and ideas, taking responsibility and many more, takes the person to his/her journey of success. For example, parents should teach their children about self-management strategies because it is a very important skill for success as a children grow into adulthood.
In addition, self-management skill evaluates our strengths and weaknesses. Until we know our strengths and weaknesses it is hard to set a goal. Recognizing and analyzing our weaknesses helps to correct our mistakes and not to repeat same mistakes in the future. For instance, i have prepared a chart about self-management, which includes planning, time management, learning, recognizing my mistakes, improvements and i can assess my report at the end. Moreover, this chart helps me to build my self-confidence and self-motivation. Without confidence and motivation it is hard to reach the steps to success.
Furthermore, pre-planning and hard work is very necessary to achieve the success. If you plan in advance what you need to do, and if we work according to the scheduled plan success is guaranteed in future. Without hard work and plan nothing can be achieved easily.
In short, there is lot of skills to be developed and it depends on individual interests. Self-management is not only applied in business or companies but also in personal life. Self-management teaches us lot of things, it may be time keep up, discipline in life, know our strengths and weaknesses to improve in future.
