Colleges and universities should require their students to spend at least one semester studying in a foreign country.
I believe it is very valuable and learning experiences for students to study abroad in their life. Students are able to meet a lot of people who live in totally different culture and society, furthermore, they will learn how to understand and respect others. However, I do not believe colleges and universities should force students to spend one semester in foreign countries. Since it costs a lot of money and time to prepare, decision should be made by students and parents who most likely support financially.
