issue essay
As everybody knows that business is full of secrets and each business method is very much different from the other one. There are many people who think that each and every business company should share each other's method of work, technique and secrets with other companies. In this way they can help out each other and the information passed on with be of greater help to many such similar companies. On the contrary, some people think that the secrets or any other informative stuff about one's business should never be shared with other company. The believe that one company's secret is that what ever information gained should not be revealed to the other companies. I, personally, agree with the latter group of people and would like to refute the former group.
Firstly, business runs successfully only when there is competition in the market. Hence, to run a company, one has to work with those principles which are not common and which is not known to others. For instance, XYZ Co. knows about the features of other businesses running in the market , if XYZ co. has to reach a specific goal in the market leaving behind all other companies, then it has to plan out the work in such a way which is not to be known to others, this secret planning will help XYZ co to achieve its goals. Business techniques, methodology, formulas should never be passed on in the field of business. When a particular stuff is known to a company, it should keep that with itself, otherwise it results in a loss of that company and a gain to the other.
Secondly, I feel that one has to be a little selfish if he/she has to attain success in the field of business. One has to know the information of any stuff regarding business in such a way that the rival company or any other company is not been informed about that. Moreover, as the main goal of a business is to earn profit, the secret behind this profit is to know something that others have no knowledge about it. I feel that one should behave like a fox in a business, acting in way that he/she has no knowledge about anything, despite gaining all the stuff which for which others have nil or little knowledge.
Finally, in conclusion, I would like to urge all the companies to work in such a way that other are unable to understand your each step. While there are arguments to be made on both the sides of the situation, I think as there are more advantages to the side for which I have supported in the above mentioned arguments that "the secret of a business is to know something that nobody else knows".
