A nation should require all of its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college
The national curriculum should be same for all the students. This will be helpful for colleges to make a better decision while selecting the applicants. Also, in countries where there are lot of other culture, having a same national curriculum will help the students learn better about their country.
Having same national curriculum will help students understand about their nation well. They will learn about the country, the history of the country, and will be aware of what is going on and will help them to improve the country's economy. When a person comes to know that his home is not doing well, then he will try to work hard and see that he will bring prosperity to his country. In country like India, where they different culture, different people, having a same curriculum will bring the citizens of India together and leave peacefully. If there are different curriculum for each region(North, south east, and west) then, people will think they are superior from people from different region. This thinking will definetly will be harmful and people will not leave in peace.
When children have same curriculum, then it will be easier for the college admission department to guage their applicants and make a fair decision. For example, If the admission department makes a decision and selects a student from one state and denies a student from other state, if uniform curriculum was not there then, the denied student would have argued that the curriculum which he/she had was very competitive from other region and compared to other region's curriculum, the score was low and theerfore should geive an admission. This kind of argument won't be there, when children will have same curriculum.
Also, with common curriculum, some children might find that very easy, but for soem children it might be very difficult and hard to follow. In this case, the average student will not be able to perform well and also maybe the curriculum which the student is studying, might not be the field he wants to take up when he enters the college.
Hence, if there is a national curriculum then, they should cretae a syllabus where it will be appropriate for all the students and help students succeed in their goals.
