Progress should be the aim of any great society. People too often cling unnecessary to obsolete ways of thinking and acting because of both a high comfort level and a fear of the unknown.
There is no doubt that the survival of a society is contingent upon the way its people view the situations; people’s attitude and perspective toward their lives determine which direction that society likely to take. I am convinced that a successful society should specifically zero in on the issue of progress in order to ensure its prosperity and security.
First and foremost, in this dog-eat-dog world there is no room for societies that are remiss in their responsibilities to meet the international standards in terms of education, healthcare, industry, trade and human development indexes. Sustainability in present time demands societies to be more active and forward-thinker in order to be able to continue your economic survival; people should be educated to be diligent and hard working citizens.
Since the matter of independence is vital for all states, a key factor that assists them to release themselves from the reign of other governments is to rely on the capacity of their nation. Therefore, as long as people prefer to have a comfort existence and are unwilling to move forward, they are most likely to guarantee that they gradually lose their autonomy. As a result, people should be encouraged to be responsible and attempt to adjust themselves with higher standards in order to benefit their independence.
Last but not least, a great society ought to institute this fact that people’s eventual bliss is highly depended on how they deem the live. People’s awareness should be raised in terms of the advantages of being achievement-oriented individuals, as this approach would be effective in eradicating the serious problems like unemployment rate, crime rate and indigence rate.
