Compare the advantages and disadvantages of three of the following as places where advertisers might place advertisement for cars, explain which you think would be the most effective : camera, radio, billboards, TV, newpapers, and magazines. Give reasons and include relevant example.
Since last 20th century, the number of companies that produce product to sell have exploded as people are more consumptive. Companies believe that advertisement is the most vital aspect in selling their product. This essay will examine benefit and drawbacks of advertisement and also the best media, in my view, for attracting the consumer.
Nowadays, enormous inhabitants buy an item because they already know about the information of the item and eventually the item is suitable with their need. They get the information from advertisement. When the advertisement suceeds to get people attention, most of them can be ensured to buy their products. Therefore, it is particularly important to use advertisement to boost their selling.
On one hand, sometimes the contain of advertisement that made is inappropriate with the real uses of the product. Some brands, for example, give information that people can have white skin in a month when using their product routinily. But in fact, there is no or just less difference after a month using. As a result, company get crictics from society. What is more, companies must spent much budget for advertisement. This make the price of the item to be more expensive.
In my view, the most effective advertisement is TV. Most of indonesian people, for instance, always watch TV everytime. Even they like to watch advertisement in TV. It is good opportunity for companies. Besides, advertisement in TV is more attractive and colourful than paper media that make TV-watchers can easily understand what the brand sells and convince they well. However, busy people rarely watch movie, but it is never mind because there are many more people who watch movie.
To sum up, I believe that advertisement is the most essential thing that company must do in order to make an increase in sold-product total and TV is the most affective media to advertise their products.
