The line graph below shows the comparison between six fuel resources in consumption energy that measured by quadrillion units in USA since 1980 and prediction in 2030.
The using of nuclear, solar/wind, and hydropower resources showed a hovering since 1980 in level 3 to 6. The prediction of these resources indicates the hovering level from 4 to 8 in 2030. The nuclear will be higher than solar or hydropower in 2030.

The using coal resources rose slowly from 16 in 1980 to 18 in 1990. Next, the coal increased dramatically to 23 in 1995 and remained steady at 23 until 2005. The prediction of coal shows that coal will go up to 25, 26 and 30 in 2015, 2020, and 2030 respectively.

The natural gas resources showed a fluctuation trend from 20 (1980), 18 (1995), and 23 (2005) respectively. The natural gas will be increased to 25 in 2015 and then stay the same level at 25 until 2030.

The petrol and oil resources were the highest rank of energy consumption. It stood at 35 in 1980 and decreased to 34 in 1995. Next, it climbed to 40 in 2005. The prediction of this resources show amazingly increasing to 45 in 2015 and 50 in the end 2030.

To sum up, most of resources will have good growth in 2030. Petrol and oil will be the highest rank of the energy consumption of 2030.
