Should wealthy nations be required to share their wealth among poorer nations by providing such things as foods and education? Or is it the responsibility of the governments of poorer nations to look after their citizens themselves?
This issue is apparently about responsibility versus obligation. Rich country, in personal view, refers to whether the nation’s citizen can get full of hunger at each day; poor, cannot.
It is unfair to force wealthy county helping poor countries by sharing a proportion of resource like money and daily necessity. Fairness means that all of our responsibility and welfare will not be affected by sex identity, religion, race and personal identity. No matter how rich a nation is, it is fair for them to choose not to help other countries. However, the obligation of human being forces richer to help poor, even thought they need not shoulder any responsibility.
Doubtless, the poor nation’s government should assist their citizens firstly. All political behaviors and decisions have to do with citizens’ lives quality. There should be full of resource underground like fuels but the government has failed to develop it. The less trading chance results in lower income and poor life quality eventually.
In fact, this controversial issue should have alternative argues when considering its severity. Natural tragedies like earthquake and tsunami are unavoidable and can trigger a huge loss. Poor nations, lack of money, are unable to recovery the damage quickly and successfully. Therefore, based on the obligation of mankind, rich nations should join hand with battered nation to rebuild everything as soon as possible by providing money and foods for victims.
To conclude, no country with plentiful resource should be bound to help lack of resource countries. When a serious incident happen, based on the obligation and sympathy, they will provide sufficient resource for them. At least, poor nations’ government must own responsibility to give extra care to their citizen.
