Given is the table providing information about consumer expenditure on different item groups in five countries in 2002.
It can be observed that Turkey ranked first with 32,14 % consumption of foods ,drinks and tobacco, and was marginally ahead of Ireland, Spain, Italy and Sweden with the percentage of 28,91 %, 18,80 %, 16,36 % and 15,77 % respectively. There was also marked a noticeable difference on consumer spendings on things such as clothing and footwear among the indicated countries. The biggest (9 %) and smallest amount (5,40 %) belongs to Italy and Sweden accordingly.
