We live today in an electronic information age It is easier to be connected by technology yet many people seem no closer to feeling happy in their lives

It is true that we live in an electronic information age today. People have different views about the advantages of technology. While some people believe that connected by technology is easier for communication, some other think many users seem not cheerful by technology.

On the one hand, technology is beneficial to provide close contact with other people. Especially in electronic era, communication will be done via email, internet, and chatrooms. Thoose are easy, quick, and cheap contact. For example, in the past people used letter to keep in touch with family and old friends. It would waste time and sometimes the letter was failed to send. But now, people can make communication via email, social media, and internet wherever and whenever. Not only to communicate, but also to share information to promotion. Moreover technology can solve isolation eg Finland. Finland as the corner side country in the world at previous time. Now, every place will be discovered by modern electronic technology.

Although, some views believe technology increase serves to easier communication, but many user does not appear to enjoy the function of technology. A lot of cases show that modern electronic do not guarantee the user can feel happiness. There are some evidence that rate of depression, suicide, divorce, and stress day by day are advanced.

To sum up, modern electronic era allows variety of facilities which communication easily. Even so, happiness and satisfaction depend on quality of relationship. In my opinion, happiness is unrelated to modern technology.
