You migrated to another country. Write a letter to your friend to describe your present life and tell him/her why you chose this country.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am sorry I have not written for so long. Everything has been changed from the last time we saw each other. I migrated to Montreal, Canada last month. I know, it is big news and I am so sorry that I never spoke about it with you.
At the beginning, I had some doubt to live alone in another country, but now I do not have any doubt. I found a small house in suburb. Also I found a job as a programmer in a famous company. Salary of job is amazing. I chose Canada for some reason. The important reason is the weather. You know how much I like snow and some part of Canada has a lot of snow. I choose Canada because this country is very safe and people who live in there are very happy.
Do you let me know when you plan to visit Montreal and you are always welcome to stay at my new house.
With love,
Mari
