Acquisition has other connotations. Security is being safe. In this case, knowing it will be there when you need/ want it. Owning gives assurance your house will not have to be fought over at the end of each day. You can have expectations.
Happy is an aspect of the emotional category of gratification. Sensually I am good. Content. Not knowing what will be there produces uncertainty and anxiety.
