A breakdown of the global changes of DVDs, games software and CDs transaction around the world between 2000 and 2003, over a three-year period, measured in billions of dollars is showed in the bar chart. Overall, the sales of DVDs and games software have increased, while the sales of CDs declined steadily. More people tended to buy CDs than the others.
To begin with, the number of CD transaction declined gradually between 2000 and 2003. Interestingly, the figure for CDs was recorded as the highest transaction in the other sales in all the period times about 30$ billion. In contrast, 2000 to 2003 witnessed a considerable rise in the number of marketing of DVD and Games software. The lowest percentage from all of the global sales was games software about 20$ billion in 2003.
While sales of game software and DVD increased considerably, the converse was showed by figure of CD from 2000 to 2001. A rise of both of games software and DVD transaction were around 3$ billion. However, 2002 to 2003 saw the same trend as 2000 to 2001.
