The two line graphs illustrate the trend in expenditure and revenue of the company between 1991 and 1999.
It is clear that both the sales and costs increased over the period shown. However, the figure for sales was considerably higher than costs.
In 1991, 15 million dollars was recorded as sales, slightly more than the costs, while the company spent about 13 million dollars for its expenses. As the trend of graphs was reversed, the company saw a deficit as much as 2 million dollars in 1993.
Since the sales marked its lowest point with a loss, it rocketed almost double from 15 to a peak of nearly 27 million dollars for two years. With a drop of costs, it seemed to make the largest amount of net profit between 1994 and 1995. As the costs rose and sales fell again, its profit was minimized ever. The sales, however, swelled up dramatically to around 33 million dollars, while the costs remained at similar level for the rest of the period.
